What a week – 3 states, two major events…

It has been a massive and enriching four long days bouncing around states and cities. I flew down to Melbourne on Monday afternoon for the Australian Information Security Association Melbourne Cyber Conference on the 11th, 12th and 13th. It was a massive event with some amazing presenters. I had so many great conversations, with so many people. I was lucky enough to MC a stream in room 103 on Tuesday with four amazing presentations on that day.

I also did a quick flight out on the 12th from Melbourne to Sydney to attend the fantastic Women in Security awards gala night at the Crown Towers. What a night, I love how open and accepting our industry is. Congratulations to all of the fantastic award winners and the just as amazing highly recommended award recipients on the night. I was humbled to be among so many inspiring people.

It was a massive four days and I am exhausted but it was worth every bit of effort to be able to support these amazing events. I can’t wait to do it all again next year, hopefully, a little less city hopping but it was all definitely worth it.

Here are some pictures from the events, so many more but this will give you a taste of how much fun it all was.

Finally Congratulations again Caity Randall on your amazing award on Wednesday night “Highly Commend – The One To Watch” at the Women in Security Awards. Loved your speech and not just because you mentioned me in it. Looking forward to helping you achieve amazing things in the years to come.
